This Closet Case Kalle is made in a Japanese woven, cotton/linen gingham seersucker.
This is a heavy knit, double-faced wool. I had just enough to make a shortened Sapporo (with a bit of piecing). It is unlined with Liberty tana lawn pockets.

This is the Named Inari with the cocoon shape really exaggerated. This works in woven, knit and combined knit and woven. Also discovered the Inari has three different sleeve shapes!

I love the possibilities opened up by free-motion embroidery and used it to tell the ‘Story of me’ in this quilt…or maybe blanket would be a better description.
