Very first post- excited
! I found this fab tutorial on UCreate for making a circle scarf out of two different fabrics- such a great idea and easy to do. I had a small piece of a gorgeous Liberty crepe de chine and some cotton flannel that seemed to fit the bill nicely. I added a couple of pieces of Wallace and Sewell selvedge ribbons to cover the seams and that was it. A nice easy afternoon project.
I like the fact that you can have the warmth of the flannel underneath and then layer the beautiful silk over the top. I think I might try this with a woven and jersey next time….
